The small outer diameter of the 200μm G.652D of SDGI can enable the fiber optic cable with the same cross-sectional area to accommodate more cores, or the diameter of the fiber optic cable with the same core number can be greatly reduced. The characteristics make it widely used in various types of optical cables such as large-core cables and micro-cables, which can effectively reduce the cost of optical cable installation, save pipeline resources, and increase the utilization rate of the duct network.

◆ Significant reduction in fiber outer diameter size and weight

◆ Same splice settings

◆ Effectively reduce the size and weight of the optical cable, which has obvious advantages in large-core cables, micro-cables, and miniaturized optical cables. Effectively reduce the cost of optical cable laying and installation, and increase the utilization rate of the pipeline.

◆ Regardless of the fusion splicing of the ultra-fine optical fiber itself or the fusion splicing of the conventional optical fiber, there is no need to upgrade the existing fusion splicing equipment, saving you related costs.
